New Jersey is home to nearly 300,000 American Muslims, representing one of the largest Muslim populations of any state in the United States. Hassan Sharif was murdered at he was attending pre dawn prayer outside of the Masjid Muhammad mosque in Newark in January of 2024. Now more than ever we call for solidarity with the Muslim community not only in practice but in principle. Our collective struggle can only be won with the liberation of all Muslim people at home and far like places like Palestine.
